STARTING THE NEW YEAR RIGHT!
Hey Sistas,
Of those who are fasting over the next 12 days I want to provide you with some specific direction as you consecrate.
Assuming from our December season of evaluation you now recognize what was really of God and where He was specifically moving in your life last year, write those things down. Then as suggested pray to See as God sees, Hear what God is speaking. Purpose to Know the plans He has for you this year and determine to Walk by faith (not by sight) after them in 2010. Finally, pray considering the others who will be impacted by what you do (modeled after Jesus in John 17).
Second, as you pray consider the strongholds in your life (reevaluate your stronghold list), confront it and don’t be afraid of in sighting them to anger or discomfort. This is what James 1 refers to as our endeavor to persevere through. Know the Lord is with you!
Third, don’t forget to pray for MITM. Remember, God has given it to you for this very purpose- your Vision. Personally speaking…It has never failed – every time I pray for you God often reveal to me something specific in some area about you or your prayer list. What amazes me is that in the midst of praying for you he will slip in a revelation, a vision or quick insight about what he’s doing in my life as well. I’m beginning to believe it is His insurance policy in my covenant commitment to cover you.
I understand this fast may be for some of you a great sacrifice and challenge. I am merely encouraging you, to give it your best! God will honor the quality of your heart over the quantity of your effort, and if you do, I am confident this year will reflect your faithfulness like never before.
Happy Fasting!
Karen

JOIN US THIS HOLIDAY SEASON FOR A THANKGIVING AND CHRISTMAS OUTREACH AT CRAYCROFT YOUTH CENTER.
Craycroft Youth Center is located in Fresno California. It serves as a temporary housing facility for children (infant to age 17) who have been removed from home by the courts as a result of issues with parents. Some children are able to make visits to home to see parents, other are not. Some children may ultimately return home to their parents, other may go to live with relatives or be assigned to foster care. Unfortunately, many of these children will spend the holidays away from home, family and friends. You can join us as we try to make this holiday season special, even in some small way. For the third year we entertained the children on Thanksgiving day with stories, games, music and dancing. This year we also decorated cookies. For Christmas the fresno small group had their annual Christmas bake. "Persimmon Bread in a Jar." The jars are creatively decorated and packaged for all the Craycroft staff working Christmas day. A 25 gal. canister of coffee is included
