About Us

Ministries in the Making International started initially as a simple prayer group. It was founded in 1999 birthed out of a personal need and the premise that the church congregations are filled with passionate, gifted and anointed individuals with great potential and purpose, many who have been specifically called by God for a unique work. The concern was, while the church pastors have assigned prayer intercessors for themselves and their ministry, who was interceding for the multitude of visions and callings within the congregations.

Even further, if indeed these individuals were called to a particular work, more than likely their gifts and callings have a divine purpose to serve their local church, community and maybe even the nation. With this revelation, founder Karen Gaithers shared her heart with a handful of family members and close friends and from these efforts a committed group of three, devoted themselves to intercessory prayer until the vision and passions of God were fulfilled in their lives. Now, more than seven years later Ministries in the Making has established deep roots growing now into multiple regions with members from an array of various vocations and arenas all pursing and fulfilling God’s purpose for their lives with conviction, and a commitment to Christian excellence.

Ministries in the Making’s most recent expansion came with the component Ministries in the Making Business and MinistryDevelopment, a program designed to assist the believer in transferring their vision within their heart and mind on to paper and ultimately, into the lives of those they have been called to influence. Realizing many “would be” great servants of God have had their visions aborted or transformed into self centered ambitions because of the difficulty of this Christian development process, Ministries in the Making International was born.
